Visit to the Chinggis Khaan Statue and Terelj National Park

Depart from your hotel in Ulaanbaatar with your guide and head toward the impressive Chinggis Khaan Statue. Standing 40 meters tall, it is recognized as the tallest equestrian statue in the world. It is located north of the Tuul River at a place called “Tsonjin Boldog,” where, according to legend, Chinggis Khan found a golden whip. Symbolically, the statue faces east toward his birthplace.

Your tour begins with a hotel pick-up in Ulaanbaatar at 9:00 AM, followed by a drive directly to the Genghis Khan Statue, which rises 40 meters high. Holding a golden whip in his right hand, he gazes toward the distant horizon, symbolizing future conquests.

You will visit a small museum and explore ancient collections before continuing to Terelj National Park to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

You will then head to Terelj National Park, where you will spend 5 to 6 hours exploring the hills, enjoying guided hikes, having lunch at a tourist camp, and visiting a nomadic family.

You will learn about their customs, daily life, culture, and ancient nomadic traditions. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a one-hour horseback ride through the scenic landscape.
